The Future Mr. & Mrs. Dowling
My older sister is getting MARRIED!!!!!!!!! I love saying that and typing it. It brings a true smile to my face, mostly because I really see true love between her and Timmy. It's a wonderful thing when you can close your eyes and honestly say "yes, he's the one". Since the moment we met Timmy he's felt like family. And though I was getting a bit antsy as to when he would "pop the question" ... Valentine's Weekend he officially and romantically proposed to April in Boston at the Grandstand Gazebo in the Commons. From April's recount it was sweet and uncharacteristically BIG ... since there was a crowd of teenage girls watching and clapping (April is not a BIG scene gal, but for this kind of a moment I am so glad that Timmy took the chance and made a public declaration of his love and commitment). We were happy to share in the newly engaged couple's bliss at Mom's for a Valentine's Party of Cupcakes and champagne. It is so very exciting!!! We are all enjoying the fun planning and the girls are so enthralled with the idea of dressing up in gowns to be flower girls. Congratulations to April & Timmy!!!!
